22 Year Old Growth Spurt

1:35 am on a Saturday morning. What better time to post about a promise of a miracle in the waiting?

I was born sick and spent the first three and a half years of my life in the hospital. I was supposed to be on a feeding tube until I was eight years old but at three years old, God healed me and all I have from that time of my life is a memory and a scar on my stomach that looks like a bullet hole wound (pretty awesome and makes for great stories). I don't know all the medical things that were done to me but I do know that they took out something that helps the growing process in people when they are going through their growth spurts. There is something that absorbs nutrients that cause your body to grow and whatever it is called, I don't have that anymore. So...as a result, I am short and can eat loads of full without gaining weight like others might. I have obviously grown some since my birth but I didnt have the growth spurt like everyone else as a teenager. I can also drop weight very fast (it's very noticeable during week of prayer and fasting).

Because of my height, you can imagine all the jokes I've gotten before and what not. No big deal most of the time. I am a joker and can dish it out and take it. But that has never changed the fact of the matter that I want to be taller. As I got older, I have learned to accept things for what they are but never have I stopped praying for God to touch these bones and make me grow.

Nine years of praying and asking and hoping that maybe, God will hear my prayer and grant me my wish.

My mother is a praying women. The song, "Midnight Oil" is dear to me cause it's mom's midnight prayers that led me back to God not to mention they have many times also revealed answers to prayers. Well one of those answers came a year or so ago when God told mom that I was going to grow. Now I trust my moms prayers so I began to believe. Since than, two different times, someone has confirmed her word from God. One of which was my little brother. Out of the blue one day, he called and said that while he was praying, God told him that I was going to be taller. He had no idea that we were already believing God to do it. Well the Bible says, "that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established." So I believe even more.

I've thought many times about how it's going to be when it happens. Every one in a while, I'll stack up books and standing on them in the restroom to see how it will be. I've told many people and of course, they laugh historically at the idea of a 22 year old man having his growth spurt. But Sarah laughed as well when God told her that she was going to have a child at her old age.

I know why God is doing this. He is using this as a way to display His power and glory. The Bible talks about many many people coming to God because of what He did for Lazarus and my prayers these days are not just God let tonight be the night that you give me the height but also that it would have the Lazarus Effect. That many others can be saved from it.

I know the day is approaching rapidly when I will receive that height. I believe it will happen even in the revival we are in now. And be sure that I will testify more when the day comes. I'm roughly 5'3, 5'4 now. We shall see what I will end up at.





Oh and by the way. I have gone to bed the last three nights with growing pains in my knees...

And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. -Hebrews 6:15

There are three promises that I have received from God and tonight I claim the fullfillment of these promises in JESUS NAME!!

Let thy power be displayed through me O Lord. For thy glory and honor.

Day 2 of Revival

I believe with all my heart that God is leading up to breakthrough miracle working, Holy Ghost filling, soul saving service like we have never seen before in this revival with Bro Disotell.

Sunday morning he talked about Making Your Way To God. How to overcome all the "crowd" to reach Jesus. He at Led about how we need to get a determination in us to overcome any kind of hindrances to get to where we need to be, to receive our blessing.

Sunday night, he preached on deliverance. And man did some people get delivered as well as get touched by God.

Tonight, he preached about Whatsoever.. Talked about how we can bind whatsoever in earth and it will be bound in heaven and we can loose whatsoever on Earth and it will be loose in heaven. He really built up faith in many people including me about the power that we contain the moment that we become His through Repentence, Water Baptism in Jesus Name, and Holy Ghost evident by speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance. He really revealed things tonight that I believe are going to help us breakthrough somethings, overcome somethings, bind somethings.

Satan is trembling right now cause God has just equipped His people with weapons of this spiritual warfare!

Thnk God for His Word. For His power. For Hs Spirit. In Jesus Name let Your will be done and may these prayers be answered and promises be fulfilled for the glory of God!

Revival

We are beginning a two week revival with Bro. Michael Disotell from Louisiana. He is no stranger to Landmark Apostolic Church. God has used him before to not only heal miraculously my mother of MS after many years of having the disease. He also gave our church a prophetic word from God the last time that he came.

I hear a sound of an abundance of rain from a cloud the size of a man's hand.

We have been seeing God work and add greatly to our church since he came last time. But one thing is for certain. God has been seriously dealing with me for a while about the great things that God is going to do these next two weeks.

Miracles. Promises fulfilled. Revival and outpouring of His Spirit. And things that we have not seen, heard, nor has it entered into the heart of man. (1 Corinthians 2:9)

Last night, we had awesome prayer meeting. And than God moved upon Pastor to do something that he hasn't done before but I believe with all my heart it was the will of God.

We all wrote down on a Post-It note the things that we are believing God to change and do this revival and placed it in an envelope. Than we put it in on the alter along with a toy van (signifying the church van that we are desperately in need of and are praying for) and Pastor poured oil on top of it and we all gathered around and prayed in the Holy Ghost about it.
