21st Birthday To Remember. Eternal Blessing

Tuesday Night, December 14, 2010: Spirit of God moves in a way so strong that leads to tongues of interpretation.

Sunday Morning, December 19, 2010: Spirit of God still lingers from the previous service. Victory is claimed. Dad comes to church for the first time in years. Last time he was in church, he was pastoring and preaching that day. Pre service prayer takes place and from the very outset of service, God's presence is made known and is strong. Pre service prayer leads to everyone making their way around the alter and praying. Tears flowing, prayers being prayed, victory and deliverance over spirits proclaimed. Dad makes his way to the alter where sin dies and grace and mercy are restored. Pastor points to dad prayer at the alter and I go and pray with him. Power of God hits so strong that I cannot stand after a while. Tears flowing, Holy Ghost being spoken, I hear the sound of the greatest birthday gift I can receive today or any other day.

Dad speaking in tongues.

Every tear that stained my pillow, every cry of my heart, every week of fast, everything given up to draw closer to God both great and small, significant and trivial, everyday, everytime, everywhere, all was worth it for that moment.

There is nobody like Jesus.

O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever. O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever. To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever. Psalms 136:1-4

rambleblabbleramble

Wow. Its hard to believe that in eleven days I am going to be 21. Thank you God for mercy, grace, healing and salvation just in time. Usually this is the part where people begin to talk about how they are getting old with a dreadful tone of voice. I , on the other hand, don't share that feeling. Sure I am a whole lot older than 21 inside. Going through the type of life that I have been through because of choices I or another person in my life have made, does that to a person. Although I look at my life with a sense of hope of much more to come. Blessings, miracles, earthly gain and of course the ultimate reward, eternal life with my Father. Not to boast, but I speak now with a faith that is impossible to explain. The amount of hope and faith that I have in the prayers that I have been praying being answered is so great. It's like this. You order something online and the shipping takes two weeks to get in. The day that it gets in, the UPS man comes to your door and you're not home that day. So they leave you a note and tell you to pick it up at the nearest UPS Store. That's how I feel about these memorial prayers (Prayers that take a little more time vs an immediate response to a prayer) Like I have prayed (ordered) this prayer and God has told me to wait a bit for it to come in. The faith and hope that I have right now is like seeing that note on my door (Godd's Word) saying come pick it up. Its already been bought, freely given and not its time to pick it up. Right now I'm just in the car, driving to the nearest UPS Store. I pray that when these prayers are answered and the blessing is pour out upon my life that it will uplift the faith of others, that the Lord will lead me to the proper people or place to a blessing back, and that I will remain humble, broken and contrite in Spirit with the favor and blessing of God on my life and decisions and my focus always always always set on Him.

What good is to gain the whole world and lose your soul.

It's not about what I want but what He wants from me. It's not about where I wanna go but rather where He is leading me.

The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.
-Psalms 37:23

I Went To The Enemies Camp and I Took Back What He Stole From Us

I don't know what it was about this morning, November 2, 2010 that has me writing this. I don't know why this burden for my brother has so strong come upon me driving me to tears in prayer for nearly an hour now. I'm exhausted but I pray at the very least cause I remember a mother that burned the midnight oil, that soaked and stained the pillow with tears of prayers for salvation and deliverance of a rebellious son that she thought was sleeping in the next room. But instead I lie there silently crying god don't give up on me. I would be foolish to ask for forgiveness knowing very well tomorrow I will follow where those same binding spirits lead me. But my daily prayer and cry with guilt, conviction, pain and a yearning for something more in life burning a hole in me was that the god grandpa and dad had preached about would not give up on me. Mercy that endures forever, grace that's still amazing from my heavenly father have turned completely around that kid crying out to god to this kid crying out. Two in the morning and its dejavu all over again. Tears soaking stains in my pillow but this time not in guilt or pain but a burden for my little brother. It's my turn to burn the midnight oil. To pray the prayer of faith and know that god in his perfect and beautiful way will once again restore the David I know of old. I can't help but think of a time before life hit. Before alcohol, before drugs, before girls, before parties and worldly lust, before seperation, before hard knocks and fights, before the trials and tribulations, before heartache and pain when two boys innocent and naive of life lifted hands and sang praises as only children can do. I can't help but know with hope that's growing stronger and greater each day that the day where two boys lift hands and sing praises again is upon us. I can see him joining this fight to restore a good name to a family ripped apart. To join in with prayers for the remaining who are still searching for what's right before their face. I can see people looking at four gonzales family members and seeing people who have been through the fire more times than not, who have been broken bruised and abused but stand proudly, free, redeemed, saved. Three gonzales kids praying, tearing down hell's gates for soul after soul. For a father once receiving that ultimate call. For a brother who once lead in truth. For a brother once surrendered entirely to His will. For sisters who radiated kindness and joy unspeakable with their lives. For extended family and children. For revival in the kingdom of god. When will this happen? Only heaven knows. But as sure as the day will steal away the night in hours, it will happen. Take note hell. We ain't going anywhere but forward. Too long the chains have bound and restrained my family, friends, and church. Victory is ours.

....and the gates of hell SHALL NOT prevail against it

Just Wait

Words at the tip of the tongue yearning to be released. If only an escape was allowed rather than just put on a waiting list. If they could come out, would they make a difference? Would they trigger a change? Make a dream come true? How does a journey without end start if there is no beginning? How does forever take place if there are boundaries of time laid out? Questions without an answer yet I see the answer lies hidden before my eyes. An answer so simple yet so complicated. Just wait. Don't figure out what you don't know. Just wait. Watch the impossible unfold. Watch boundaries fade and the endless road become revealed. Than you will see that it was always there, waiting, needing you to act in this manner only. Just Wait.
