Church Remodel

The day after we got home from Heritage Conference, we jump right into our building remodel. Click on the link below to see some pics of the demolition as well as the remodel as it progresses.

It's going to be awesome when it's done. God truly has done a miracle work for our church. From the way we got it to this remodel. We are getting new walls, new carpet, building a new platform, new ceiling, new lights, new soundbooth, covering up some windows and doors, and that's just the first part. Come fall we are going to paint the outside and remodel the foyer area as well out on a new roof. By New Years 2012, we are gonna have a completely different church. I pray the change will also hit the "temple of God" and that we will be a revival, holy ghost falling like it's the day of Pentecost all over again kind of church. God is so good. I love this life, love this message, love this truth, love the trials and the blessings, love holiness an separation. I am just whole heartily in love with Jesus.

Fall in love with Jesus. It will be the best thing you could ever do. Trust me.

New York Trip

They say a picture speaks a thousand words. Well I guess that means that this post will be about 15,000 plus words. And rather than writing out my entire experience in Queens and Manhatten, New York, I will just touch on the basics and let the pictures that I took tell the rest.

Mom was enrolled in an online medical billing college called Allen School. Allen School's main campus is in Queens, New York. Mom finished and wanted to attend the graduation in New York but because of the finances, wasnt sure if she was going to be able to. We prayed and God made a way. She got nominated for validictorian of the entire class so we took that as God giving us the ok to go to New York.

We left Wednesday night at 10pm. Five hour flight (3 hour time difference). Got in at 6am Thursday morning. We shuttled to the rental place. Drove in a city that has CRAZY AGGRESSIVE drivers to our hotel. Changed and headed over to the graduation by noon. Great graduation. Mom looked beautiful as always. Afterward we went to the hoteland slept from 6pm till 8am the next morning. After driving aggressively (I am a fast learner) to eat breakfast than across the bridge to Manhatten and parking our car in a parking garage, the 11 hour on foot New York experience began!

Note: Photography done by MGJR with a Canon and my amazing Apple iPhone.
